How do invites work? #2

How is it designed to work and does it effect anything if we don't use them?

Why does Nick have NaN (re: none or not set) invites while AJ and I have invites? Is it because his account was created after we touched or changed something in the settings page?

Emails on an account required for invite to work (sign-in via Twitter, maybe also FB doesn't require email). Seems that 'sending an invite' only emails the user and does not automatically mark them as 'invited'? No one's invite count seems to be going down.

Correct.

Also just found new potential issue, if you play something via embedly and close it it doesn't stop the song, you must go back in and pause...

Also noticed this, not sure if true or consistent: Log of invites for user not shown on edit profile page unless navigated to from dropdown?
