I realize this is a larger feature request, so this is more of a wishlist
"if you want to and have time" type of thing.

Snes9x-rr is a project that adds rerecording support for Snes9x to record
and watch Tool Assisted Speedruns(see this website http://tasvideos.org/).
TAS runs are very entertaining for many people, and I think that demo
recording is an integral part of an emulator. Porting the rerecording code
to this project would be fantastic, it would enable linux users to record
and watch TAS videos for the SNES easily. Just a suggestion.

Can't promise anything on this, as many TAS videos are dependent on emulator 
versions
and accuracy quirks can throw things off.
