DevTools - Fireworks Bug #12000

When scoring 100 points on Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices and SEO, fireworks start appearing. However after 10 seconds or so they start stuttering and glitching out before the full animation is played?

If anyone is passionate about the fireworks and wants to look into what causes this, a great external contribution opportunity :)

I wouldn't completely rule out something to do with the randomness of the fireworks yet, but a platform-specific animation/GPU issue feels most likely to me.
