Failed to subscribe the user: DOMException: Registration failed - manifest empty or missing #28

It is asking for manifest file . can you please tell me which type of file it is? In chrome v51 this problem is came after upgrading chrome the problem fixed. Please guide the format of json needed to send the notification, as i am trying to send notification it says unable to parse subscriptions as json.
