I've written a ui-connctor enhancement that captures structured logs that include status, troubleshooting information, and telemetry for key functionality. I'd like to contribute this back to the code base.

Hi @xsgbloom you could create a PR for the new code with structured logging mechanism and let us review. If it passed the owner reviewed it will be automatically merged.
