CFT vs Fabric FAST #1252

CFT is a "set of production-ready resource templates that follow Google's best practices".

Cloud Fabric FAST says it, "provides a design of a GCP organization that includes the typical elements required by enterprise customers."

Both provide use Terraform and have a set of stages to bootstrap an org with IAM, CI/CD, audit logging, networking, etc.

It's not clear to me why both projects exist and what is the preferred solution (if any).

If I'm deploying an org from scratch, is there any guidance from Google regarding whether we should choose one or the other?

I think I cannot be the only customer that is confused about this.

I opened another issue on the Cloud Foundation Fabric repo, and they did a doc about the differences. I will therefore close this issue.
