Recipe for Deploying Kubeflow on Anthos (GKE On Prem) #138

We need a recipe for deploying Kubeflow on Anthos (GKE On Prem).

Here are some pointers

  1. Start with our GitOps instructions as a way of generating YAML manifests for the K8s and GCP resources you need on a GCP deployment
  2. Add/Remove/Edit resources as needed in order to tailor the deployment to your on prem cluster.
    • You can use kpt/kustomize/yq whatever to do this

I think there are two big problems we need to solve for on prem i) Remove GCP resources that don't make sense for on prem; e.g. delete the GKE cluster resource and instead edit the manifests to use your existing cluster ii) Figure out to securely connect to web services running in your cluster.

Our general recommendation for ii) is to use IAP On Prem
