Replace functionality added to wordpress but not wordpress-updatable added in #140 that was accidentally removed in #142.

Also fixes the accidental removal of calling app/build within app/verify, as app/publish had called it indirectly, also removed in #142.

Confirmed successful verification run after ingesting built images.
