GCE quickstart does not work #436

To reproduce:

  1. Follow the instructions here word for word https://cloud.google.com/nodejs/docs/tutorials/getting-started-on-compute-engine
  2. startup script fails with:

👋 @nicoleczhu Thanks for reporting the issue. Into which location did you clone the GitHub repository? Looks like nodeapp is trying to find it here: /opt/app/new-repo/. You can ssh into the instance and list what's in that directory.
