[Feature Request] Update blog/landsat to latest Python and Beam SDKs #607

Can the code in the landsat blog be updated to work with the latest python and beam SDKs?

@brodiemackenzie can you send some links for working with GIS data using beam SDKs? Got lost Googling about the same. Apache Beam sounds nice though.
