Highlight Caret Line & Indentation Guides switch off after program restart

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set on Highlight Caret Line & Indentation Guides in View->Editor
2. Restart program
3. Highlight Caret Line & Indentation Guides are off again

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect the settings of Highlight Caret Line & Indentation Guides not to reset 
after program restart ;-)

What method of install was your version installed with (Binary/Source)?
Binary

If from source: What version of python and wxPython are you using?

I'm very impressed by the program!
I wish only the toolbar to be customizable.

Hi,

Changing settings from the menus are per-document and transient settings. That 
is
they are only for the current session and won't be restored the next time the 
program
starts.

If you wish to permanently enable these features you need to make the change in 
the
Preferences dialog (Prefrences->Document->Code). Then they will be restored the 
next
time you restart.
