Hot is failing to start

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start hotot

What is the expected output? 
Hotot is started

What do you see instead?
"Loading Resources" screen

What version of the product are you using? 
1:0.9.6~hg742-0ubuntu0ppa1~maverick1

On what operating system and what Desktop Environment?
Ubuntu 10.10, Gnome

Please provide any additional information below.
Console output:

ReferenceError: Can't find variable: chrome
