Link with a dot at the end

I twittered my phone Android a link to Google Maps. It automatically using the 
shortened own shortener Twitter (t.co) and put a dot after the link.

When I visualized this tweet Hotot I clicked on the link and opened the browser.
The link had a dot at the end.

Please treat this possibility with regex (tip) xD

It was not to have that dot in the link.

I in Ubuntu Maverick. Hotot 0.9.6 (Ada).
