Hashtag links not opening search tab #412

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click on a hash tag
2. Nothing happens

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The search panel is opened with the query

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
what Desktop Environment?
Xfce / Opensuse

Please provide any additional information below.
Im on Hotot changeset:   887:539c700092a6

Console throws:

** Message: console message: file:///usr/share/hotot/js/ui.searchview.js @138: 
TypeError: Result of expression 'view.query' [undefined] is not an object.

This used to work not long ago.
