4 years ago Interesting. Thanks for letting me know about that feature. I think I have a solution but it'll take me a while to implement. I'm having some hand join issues that are really stalling any progress on anything I'm working on :/
Assuming I can have an extra file on the Android version I can read and write dates from a file to make sure that the birthday mail for a specific day has already been sent.

The Android version of Stardew has a "Would you like to continue where you left off?" feature so you can quit any time during the day and resume where you left off even if the program is closed.
When resuming, another Birthday mail is generated in the mailbox even if you read it at the beginning of the day.
Using SMAPI-Android-Installer 3.2.0.3.
