Added flipLeftIconIfOpen bool property which is false by default

@janbennettet-datacom Thanks for your contribution. However, I had to fix a few other problems that conflicted with your PR and I'm not merging. But flipLeftIconIfOpen is now a property in the new v2.6.0.
