As pointed out in #66 the JSON data format has historical reasons and cannot be fixed standalone. Its two main consumers, Taskwarrior and Timewarrior, have to be considered as well.

The benefits of this change are IMHO not worth the efforts. See my comment on the respective issue (https://github.com/GothenburgBitFactory/holidata/issues/66#issuecomment-798858740).
