Juicebox not updating when pressing publish #122

Open joequreshi opened 7 years ago

I have managed to setup jukebox so it's working deployed on heroku & with juicebox on s3. Juice pulling seems to be working just fine, however when I press publish the juicebox is not updating in s3 with the new content.

I have tested packing manually through console locally and the changes go through to heroku app (after a restart), just not packing when I press publish (I think).

I'm experiencing this same issue, did you ever find a solution for this?

joequreshi commented 7 years ago

Yeah, I had a quick chat with Gottwick about it.

There is going to be a cloud icon button where the manual content reload button is that pushes things to juicebox. It is all done, but he needs to fix a few windows issues first before he pushes changes.

Gotcha, thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye for that change. Much Appreciated.

Is it possible that this issue is still open?

The sync button is there but wouldn't the expected behavior be that the content is automatically backed up on publish?

jmelendev commented 6 years ago

I’m guessing the sync button is limiting the amount of times that there has to be a write request on the aws system? Could be wrong but that’s what makes sense to me.

adrianObel commented 6 years ago

I suppose but I fail to see a case where you'd want to publish an article without pushing the new content.

For one edit I guess it’s an extra step but it’s better in the long run. Especially for doing multiple edits.
