Immutable data structures #5

This may sound little provocative, but I honestly would like to know why TC39 is not considering immutable data structures with structural sharing. One would think that's a way to go to a new & brave parallel world.

Something like a session about cons and pros of immutable data-structures and emphases in JS would be really interesting to me.

If there is enough interest on this subject and no volunteers to talk give a talk I would not mind doing some research and then sharing with people myself.
