This issue exists to discuss the above framework.

Preact:

Pros:

well-documented
stable
ridiculously small -- 3kb
not owned / run by Facebook

Cons:

full React capabilities not quite supported
smaller community

Preact suffers from the same integration issues that vue.js does; the inclusion of yarn / npm + special handlers in order to interact cleanly with bootstrap.
