How to build the libs for iOS environment? How to build the semantic database code?

I can't answer the first question.

About the second question: which database do you mean? There is one which connects each abstract word with its gloss. If you mean this one then it is used only on Android.

What about the first part? How do I integrate GF into a sample iOS app?

We have built one sample app for iOS with GF. For that it is enough to use the C runtime for GF. How exactly this is done on iOS, I can't explain because I am not iOS user.

You might have a better chance to find someone to help you in the gf-dev Google group.
