Unable to install GF on macOS Sonoma #168

Hi, I'm interested in GF and would like to try it. However, I am not able to install it on macOS. I follow the instructions when installing gf-3.11-macos.pkg but cannot use gf in the command line. Also, I couldn't find the path where it is possibly installed to set up a path variable.

I use macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 (Apple M3 Pro).

Thanks.

I am not an expert in Mac but in any case it would help if you provide more details on what you did and what you got. As of now your message doesn't say much.

Thanks. I just downloaded the latest version of GF and used the installer to install it. However, once install, I can't find any trace of the installed files to set the path. Consequently, I cannot run the gf command at all. As I don't have a bug, I am afraid I don't have any further information to share with you.

I think the executable is installed in /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin like on Linux but I am not sure. You should be able to see what is included in a .pkg file. See here:

Oh, thanks a lot! I found it at /usr/local/bin/gf.
