Ah so!, The units are not being kept in imperial, but changed to metric in
computer and then back to imperial in the tx. (ver 2746) ver 1.47 companion9x

The units are stored in metric also at low level in the radio.
So, half of the issue is solved (there was an issue for d>=x and |d|>=x)
Now the issue is: units in companion always displayed in metrics despite radio
settings.
