Enemy brainstorming session #187

What are our enemies going to be, mechanically? We have not decided on a genre yet but we do know that we're making a turn based JRPG style combat system.

Some ideas:

How are the enemies differentiated? Are each custom made to fill a role or is there randomness to how they are built?
