^^ @dh256git looks like your reply came to the wrong thread (meant for #1 )

An equation editor is a good idea. Our original plan was to enable parsing of MathML (homepage here, LaTeX-like syntax) for equations, but are concerned that plenty of potential volunteers don't know latex.

The developer overhead for creating a GUI equation editor from scratch would be huge so if you know of any tools that would be greatly appreciated!!
