fix funky scrolling #60

the letter containers have nested components i used overflow: hide on some to prevent ugly outflow, but this makes scrolling / mousewheel get trapped in some of them.

so we'll need to fix that. hopefully using a canvas render component will make that work #58

this is what i was trying to prevent, tho there are more nested <pre> divs that still freak things out.
