Hello, thank you so much for this wonderful browser with it's fantastic ad blocking abilities. It seems I can't view www.msn.com, it's not a deal breaker, it's just it seems that it's always the top search result for news nowadays.

rusty-snake commented 1 month ago

It works if you allow Ads.

calhix commented 1 month ago

How do you do that in vanadium?

thestinger commented 1 month ago

Press the down-drop menu next to the URL, press permissions and allow ads. Shouldn't be required... Maybe it will be fixed by the next Vanadium Config update with content filter updates.

calhix commented 1 month ago

Ahhh, never saw that option there, thanks! Yes it would be nice if that site is viewable without ads.

thestinger commented 1 month ago

It's working without a workaround here...

A new version of Vanadium Config (36) is now available in the app repository Alpha channel. You can temporarily switch the release channel for Vanadium to Alpha in order to try this. There's a new Vanadium release on the way in a few hours to Alpha but right now it's only the new Config app with updating content filters in Alpha for it.

Hm, didn't seem to make any changes, I can't even open it using Mull unless I turn off ublock origin. Will have to poke around the system settings I guess!

calhix commented 1 month ago

Closing because the website loads fine on my pixel tablet, not sure what's causing the issue on my 6a.

Finally figured it out in case anyone else has an issue, I had disabled the Third-party sign-in site setting, msn loads normally when allowed.
