Disable hidden character animations on PIN input screen #2490

After the Android 14 update, the PIN input screen have a new animation feature for the hidden characters (Shapes such as triangle, squares, pentagon, etc. that changes to circle) when pressing a number. Android design is going worse and stupid day by day and this useless animation should be removed. Also the vertical location of hidden characters is just awkward. Previous version of the location and size was much better.

We don't plan on changing the animation. Hiding the animation altogether would be a new feature.

Any chance to get a feedback on why this comment was deleted? Was there anything interesting?

I would be keen to keep as it is, I like their forms and hidden message. Hope it will never be implemented.

BTW this can be disabled even now via: settings - accessibility - color and motion - remove animations
