Do Not Disturb does not allow alarms and media #2549

Pixel 6a, Build UP1A.231005.007.2023101300, Verizon MVNO

I have DnD schedules set up for Sleeping and Personal Calendar and it is set to allow alarms and media. But, when DnD is activated by one of the schedules the media and alarm do not play any sound. The alarm (AMdroid 5.3.2) still functions and goes off at the scheduled time but it just pops up the "snooze / dismiss" buttons without making any sound. The music player (Vinyl 1.5.2) is trying to play music as indicated by the moving progress indicator, but no sound. If I go to Settings > Sound & Vibration the Media Volume and Alarm Volume sliders are greyed out and I cannot manually override them. If I go to Settings > Sound & Vibration > Do Not Disturb it tells me "Do Not Disturb is on for Personal Calendar with custom settings. View custom settings" - but I cannot view the custom settings.

HOWEVER... if I manually activate DnD the alarm works, the player works and the media volume and alarm volume sliders are NOT greyed out.

Is there anything I can try to fix this??

Hi, have the same problem on Pixel 7, UP1A.231005.007.2023101300.

DnD has no schedules, it doesn't matter if I turn it on or off manually. Yesterday an earthquake alert was delivered for my city and the app could not play any sound, even when it was on DnD Exceptions. Hope this gets fixed quickly or there's some kind of workaround.
