[BUG] constant repetitive tapping on the sim card symbol in simlock screen results in flashing screen (p6pro)(android14) #2574

  1. Activate dark theme on the pixel phone
  2. Activate simlock for physical sim card
  3. Activate screenlock
  4. Reboot pixel phone
  5. Tap contiously for a while on the sim card symbol in the "simlock enter screen"

Result is a "flashing" enter screen and if you want to enter the pin to unlock it takes some time to respond to the user input. (Entering the sim pin)

Photos cannot be provided, my 2nd Pixel has no camera. And screenshots are not possible until the p6pro is unlocked.

Recreated on Pixel 6A/UP1A.231005.007.2023101300

When you tap anywhere twice that isn't the number pad on the screen you can create the issue. It seems to be tapping past the SIM PIN entry and trying to jump to the next "Enter your pin" screen. When then trying to enter the SIM PIN (with sound on), you can hear the tap being passed through to the enter your pin screen on the first few taps, before then actually allowing you to enter your SIM PIN

Further update, flashed stock android 14 to the same Pixel 6A and was able to recreate this issue which I guess means it's an upstream bug?

Cannot reproduce this one on p4a on android13
