Cannot turn off screen recording #2865

Found a strange bug.

Reproduce the bug:

  1. Enable screen recording in admin profile
  2. Add a guest profile
  3. Switch to the guest profile
  4. Terminate the guest profile
  5. You will not be able to close/stop screen recording in admin profile, you need to reboot the phone

The bug has been confirmed by another user. It would be great if this could be confirmed on stock OS as well. It is almost certainly an upstream issue, but we need to confirm.

Pixel 8, 2024032100: can reproduce. Although the screen recording actually stops, and the recording is actually saved, the notification still appears as though it's still recording. Can't be dismissed.

Stock PixelOS, AP1A.240305.019.A1, Pixel 6a: can reproduce. The notification is actually dismissable though. Although the recording is stopped, it's just saved as a 0 MB file, so GrapheneOS is at an advantage here.
