Android Auto Wireless Connection fails #3207

Open EverettCMarm opened 5 months ago

EverettCMarm commented 5 months ago

New Google Pixel 8 Pro

Android Auto log 4b7c099ef730.txt Initial setup worked, wireless connection to Radio was flawless worked until I reached destination and shutdown car. Attempted to reconnect when driving back, no go.

Uninstalled/Reinstalled, no change Attempted to connect to Radio's wireless manually, authentication fails. Checked with Stock Galaxy S20+ and S22, works as expected, definitely not the car radio.

USB Connection works

Attaching log file.

Is Bluetooth turned on?

EverettCMarm commented 5 months ago

Yes, phone is connected Best regards,

I've unpaired and paired with the radio. Odd that it worked the first time perfectly. Now, only the USB connection works. Wireless AA should connect to the radios WiFi, this fails I'm authentication. Verified password and have tried manual connection, this fails with authentication.

Unpaired and reset the radio to clear the existing pairing. Repaired via the AA App. Android Auto log 1b7c6e7e3094.txt System log e5c4c05d3e78.txt

Nextcloud app is writing a lot of data to the log, which pushes out Android Auto log data.

Disable Nextcloud app temporarily, then capture a system log again.

Will do

EverettCMarm commented 5 months ago

This is very odd.

Unpaired again, cleared car radio of the bluetooth pairing, same as I had done previously. Figure get the system and AA logs from the beginning.

Well, it's working. Tested yesterday and today. THis is bizarre but a welcomed "resolution".
