Apps disabled in accessibility service after update to 2024102100, cannot be enabled again #4176

After the update to build 2024102100 (first Android 15 release for me) apps that were previously enabled in the accessibility service, e.g. Edge Gestures and Buzzkill, have been disabled and can no longer be enabled. When trying to do so, the expected dialog with Allow/Deny/Uninstall options appears but clicking Allow has no effect. The dialog is closed but the app stays disabled.

This seems to only affect secondary user profiles. In the Owner profile the problem does not occur. (None of my affected apps were previously installed in the Owner profile.)

Workaround:

  1. Install the app in the Owner profile.
  2. Enable the app for the accessibility service in the Owner profile.
  3. Enable the app for the accessibility service in the secondary profile (now possible).
  4. Optionally disable the app again for the accessibility service in the Owner profile (stays enabled in the secondary profile).

THanks for the tip. This is work perfect for me.
