Camera vibrating issue with specific version of Revolut banking app #4329

Devices affected: Pixel 8, Pixel 6a Build: 2024110700 App: com.revolut.revolut App version: 10.53.1 - version code: 10053044781 Unaffected app version: 10.51.1 - version code: 1005104693

Issue: when trying to scan a payment QR code, the rear camera vibrates with a weird noise. The app shows an unstable camera preview, is not responsive and not able to scan anything. The camera stops vibrating when the app is forcefully terminated.

The front camera works fine.

This doesn't sound like a GrapheneOS related issue. You should try exploit protection compatibility mode.

Thanks for the feedback. Tried exploit protection compatibility mode, same behavior.
