Pixel 6a rebooting itself after ending calls with USB-c wired in-ear headphone plugged #4364

Since the Android 15 update, my Pixel 6a reboots by itself less than a minute after I end up a voice call when a USB-c headphone is plugged. It's a full reboot with Google and GOS logos appearing.

It's a standard wired in-ear headphone like this one : https://www.mobilefun.fr/official-samsung-tuned-by-akg-usb-c-wired-earphones-with-microphone-black-82585

It happens despite the 2 lasts stable system updates (build 2024110700 for my tests last week and 2024111800 for my tests today).

At least 2 other users have the same issue (see the thread on discuss https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/17074-phone-rebooting-after-ending-calls )

To reproduce :

  1. plug the headphone
  2. make a standard voice call
  3. hang up
  4. wait until the screen automatically turns off
  5. the phone reboots

It's the same whether I make the call or receive it.

Other tests I made :

Another issue that could be linked but that I can't reproduce :

Sometimes, if I plug the usb-c headphone during a call, it's not detected, I can't ear nor talk with it, the sound continues to come out from the phone's speaker.

Don't know if it's relevant but during my tests, I had 2 crash reports :

This issue affects stock PIxel OS too: https://www.reddit.com/r/GooglePixel/comments/1gc78kk/android_15_pixel_6a_repeatedly_crashes_after_call/ https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/302961755/random-restart-after-a15?hl=en

I would like to confirm the presence of those reboots on Pixel 6a with Google Pixel usb-c earbuds.
