Issue tracker for GrapheneOS Android Open Source Project hardening work. Standalone projects like Auditor, AttestationServer and hardened_malloc have their own dedicated trackers.
Since the Android 15 update, my Pixel 6a reboots by itself less than a minute after I end up a voice call when a USB-c headphone is plugged. It's a full reboot with Google and GOS logos appearing.
It's the same whether I make the call or receive it.
Other tests I made :
plug the headphone during the call and then do steps 3 to 5 > phone reboots
hang up the voice call and do something on the phone and then do steps 4 to 5 > phone reboots
unplug the headphone before hanging up and then do steps 3 to 5 > phone doesn't reboots
make a voice call without headphone plugged > phone doesn't reboots
Another issue that could be linked but that I can't reproduce :
Sometimes, if I plug the usb-c headphone during a call, it's not detected, I can't ear nor talk with it, the sound continues to come out from the phone's speaker.
Don't know if it's relevant but during my tests, I had 2 crash reports :

It's a standard wired in-ear headphone like this one : https://www.mobilefun.fr/official-samsung-tuned-by-akg-usb-c-wired-earphones-with-microphone-black-82585
It happens despite the 2 lasts stable system updates (build 2024110700 for my tests last week and 2024111800 for my tests today).
At least 2 other users have the same issue (see the thread on discuss https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/17074-phone-rebooting-after-ending-calls )
