The dialog for typing a hyperlink only shows the input field. I'm pretty sure there was a tick (for adding the link) and a cross (for cancel) before. There's actually a wider space on the right of the input field than on the left, that makes me think that it's a placeholder for such icons.
Enter (for adding) and clicking outside the dialog (for cancel) work, but user guidance is poor.
