Would be good to see this one approved/merged since it involves a CVE fixed in netty-handler.
CVE in question is "Uncontrolled Memory Allocation", CVE-2020-11612
I'm also voting for merging and releasing this, as it solves the CVE 🙏
Superseded by https://github.com/Graylog2/gelfclient/pull/52, which updates netty-handler
to the latest version. I'm not sure why Dependabot did not pick up the later version.
OK, I won't notify you again about this release, but will get in touch when a new version is available. If you'd rather skip all updates until the next major or minor version, let me know by commenting @dependabot ignore this major version
or @dependabot ignore this minor version
.
If you change your mind, just re-open this PR and I'll resolve any conflicts on it.
Bumps netty-handler from 4.1.42.Final to 4.1.46.Final.
