Debugging field mappings ? #448

I already needed to do this twice while moving systems to 0.20 and it's not easy ATM - I would love to see a debugging option that allow me to see the raw events as they come in, like a prettified message dump that contains field type information where that is possible (GELF, GELF HTTP).

It's quite old, but had to do this a few weeks ago too and didn't find an easy way.
