XLSX/PDF spreadsheet reports of Saved Searches #5805

We have a business need to have audit reports generated daily/weekly/monthly for Banks, and Government entities for compliance purposes that are in PDF and XLSX/csv format of audit logs.

This is a feature request to add automatic generation/emailing of csv/pdf/xlsx spreadsheets of search results with specified fields in saved searches.

We are currently paying thousands per year for skedler reports(www.skedler.com) and would like to instead have these funds go towards Graylog development to support your project and to be able to manage all the reporting within the same UI.

Please let me know if adding advanced reporting is doable. If this feature is added we plan on purchasing Graylog Enterprise.

Just to clarify, those auditlogs are ingested into Graylog and you need a PDF and XLSX/CSV?

Because creating PDF out of ingested messages is possible with the reporting in Graylog Enterprise already.

@jalogisch those are just dashboards. Our auditors and our customers that are banks/gov/org need audit reports of full csv outputs of saves searches. We would like the ability to email automatically excel and pdf spreadsheets of saved search data for customers. Basically we have lets say 100 streams, each stream has an index and each index needs a weekly log of audit events/login events emailed to the customer weekly.

@deeshe @lennartkoopmann Any chance on Saved search pdf/xls reports being added to reporting soon? We are especially anxious to upgrade to Enterprise and need this feature.

Please add this feature to the new alerting and reporting system, unfortunately we had to pay 5+ figures USD for a 3rd party solution for the next year, if we can have saved search data into a table sent in xlsx/pdf forms that would be nice.
