Add content pack "Uninstall All" option to the "More Actions" drop down #8284

What?

Add the option to Uninstall All a content pack from the "More Actions" drop down on the content packs list page.

Why?

Ease of use. It's not always immediately clear to users that you have to select the content pack first to then uninstall it.

@miwent which content pack should be uninstalled if multiple content packs are installed? Or should we open a modal to choose the content pack to uninstall?

miwent commented 4 years ago

@kmerz I'm sorry it wasn't more clear, for each content pack in the content pack list there is a "More Actions" button with a drop-down menu.

One of our test customers mentioned it would make sense to also have an uninstall option available as a choice under "More Actions", I also think it would make sense. Otherwise it would act exactly the same as the current uninstall feature.

@miwent That part I understood, I am sorry I didn't make myself clearer.

The problem is why we did not (yet) add a uninstall action to that drop down is, that you can have multiple installations of a content pack. Here the list entry refers to the content pack as whole and not to a specific installation. We did not see a nice way to uninstall a certain content pack installation.

BUT what I could offer would be a menu point saying uninstall all what do you think?

Yes, uninstall all makes sense. Thanks!
