Functions are being repeated in both files

What were you expecting to happen?

Delete one of the 2 repeated functions

Any logs, error output, etc?

No

Any other comments?

I recommend researching the concept of utils functions (they are generic functions that are used in multiple parts of a program to avoid rewriting them in each file)
