Boss and difficulty game stages #20

As mentioned in issue #10, there will be a couple of stages involved in the mod. This thread deals with difficulty and boss scaling using Game Stages.

To elaborate, this thread deals with monitoring of whether or not a boss has been defeated yet, tied into #15, and once defeated a message like the world shudders is played and another stage is added. For each subsequent boss, another stage is added. These stages, are difficulty stages and are used to control what kind of mobs can spawn in the various dimensions.

They go from increasing 'normal' hostile mob spawns from vanilla and similar mods, to decreasing them and replacing them with more dangerous variants like those from Mutant Beasts, THE UNDEAD or similarly dangerous mobs. Likewise, hostile mobs unique to their own dimensions may be added to world spawning, and others added using In Control! as outlined in #19.

NOTE #8 and #11 also tie in with the increased difficulty.

Consider adding the Giant Spawn mod.

Though, considering the abilities of In Control!, that is likely possible without adding another mod.

Eventually, you'll start farming animals using Woot or some other method (consider finding a way of making normal farming less practical perhaps?), and when you do, a new Stage will come into effect. Letting the subsequent version from the 🐷Lethal Peaceful🔫 mod start spawning.

E.g. you've finally gotten a cow mob shard and started up your first Woot farm. Upon which, either when it is activated or when you get the cow mob shard, you are granted the stage that belongs to the mob equivalent of the shard. Cows in this case. This will enable spawning of the lethal versions of the cow. It'll still be somewhat rare, but at least it's there now.
