[Bug] Crashing on Smash Bros Ultimate Error Code: 2002 - 0007 #202

Closed Lyraedan closed 2 weeks ago

Lyraedan commented 2 weeks ago

Description of the issue

Random crashing on smash bros ultimate since update 1.2.72. Previous versions worked fine.

I read its a problem with the "sdcard" folder and you should delete it but even after doing that it still happens. So I figured I'll post it here.

Can you try with 4GB DRAM instead of 8GB ?

Lyraedan commented 2 weeks ago

I didn't even realize I had it set to 8GB. I'll give that a try. I must of changed it playing around with BOTW and TOTK and forgot about it

Lyraedan commented 2 weeks ago

Still crashed after a fight or two @GabCoolDude and performance was noticably worse.

Thats with 4GB DRAM image

If it helps I managed to get this to pop up. Though I was playing around with settings image

A log was not generated for this

Lyraedan commented 2 weeks ago

I've been able to subside the error through playing with settings. I'll attach them here. Incase this error is replicable

In System settings I set DRAM to 4GB image

In CPU I set it to Host from Host Unchecked. This actually seemed to make an improvement image

Graphics I played around with several different versions. Vulkan, OpenGL, different scales and filters etc but this is what I set with that worked. image

Then finally the networking tab I made sure to turn everything off image

After having this setup it started working again... for the most part
