I have a preference for an optional cardless display (option 1 above, a table) so members can scan a lot of proposal titles on relatively little screen real estate.
If maintaining responsive deign makes this a lot of work, I am open to having the 'table view' avail on desktop/tablet only.
And if having a desktop/tablet-only view is not how Decidim's foundation, then I would probably say let's work on something else!
And a possible additional option... could we do the work more easily by having the CapRover WordPress server use an API or SQL to pull the data, build the table in HTML and then serve it through an iFrame?
The Decidim redesign is going to change the "cards" view. It will be a list. However, not sure we can apply it until next year because is a massive change and there's going to be a refinement process. It is supposed to look like this: See more here: https://www.figma.com/proto/3CNSXeFTMtUl2QdEUgLpEo/Decidim-PX-(DONT-EDIT)?page-id=7276%3A117981&node-id=7276-119813&viewport=530%2C463%2C0.02&scaling=min-zoom&starting-point-node-id=7276%3A216610&show-proto-sidebar=1
However, we can change things meanwhile if you think is worth it..
We'd like to explore ways to make it easy for members to see which proposals get the most 'supports'.
Option #1: The ideal would be a very simple table with (A) only proposal titles, (B) no amendments, and ordered based on decreasing number of supports:
Supports - Title 41 - (link)National Strategy for Older Adults(/link) 36 - (link)Establishing a National Carbon Budget(/link)
Option #2: - Making the existing proposal list easier to scan and see which proposals have the most support
