Some fun work!

We will now probably launch on Thursday, but we want to take the opportunity to collect money, and see if the website can Fund itself.

We'd like a prominent call for donations, particularly where users are getting the most value from the site (e.g. Proposal submission).

You might have some ideas on how to do this well/cost effectively (e.g. a graphic in the footer is one option), but here's another idea to give you an idea of what's in our heads:

We'd appreciate any suggestions on how you think we could best do this.

sure, we can do that. Even put it in several places and make it a bit configurable via ENV var. However, remember that it exists the "omnipresent banner" that can be used for that purpose too.

We do remember the omnipresent banner... but that's a bit heavy to be everywhere, all the time.

Consider something more generic than "AGm chat" for the button. " Chat.green.ca" perhaps? An opportunity to get psseople ro start thinking of green.ca as a members space.

@Laurence-Montgomery I did this quite intentionally, since Kevin has only been comfortable committing to the chat as an effort for the AGM, not for the longer term. Happy to put something else. I think my second choices would just be CHAT (beta) or GPC CHAT (beta), but let us know what you want.
