Start documenting game.dat #8

Hi there, I have started documenting the contents of the game.dat file. Some things are still unclear or missing. Are you seeing anything that needs clarification or reformatting?

Edit: campaign progress is included now.

Looks very good. Just 2 questions: Which versions did you check? just KE? Write events does not include settings changes. Is this intentional?

Yes, KE only.

  1. While playing around, I noticed that exiting the game will also update game.dat.
  2. Hmm, which settings are you referring to? In case you mean Config.exe or the in-game audio settings, I had a closer look at those and added what I found (interaction between game.dat and registry keys) to the docs. If you like, we can move the registry key matter into a separate page and link it instead.
