Learning Objectives #6

Bringing this over from the old principles repo:

Before writing any content, learning architects recommended first defining your learning objectives in the language of the blooms taxonomy, see: https://github.com/Green-Software-Foundation/principles/blob/main/blooms-taxonomy.pdf

Your learning objectives should be framed as a question, so instead of "Understand Green Software Engineering" it would be framed as "What is the definition of Green Software Engineering?"

Blooms taxonomy also categorises a set of questions to the level of thinking required to answer them, from low "can you list" style questions to higher thinking required questions "how would you improve" style questions. Learning objectives should have a mixture of multiple styles.

By structuring learning objectives this way we can easily create a quiz to test peoples knowledge. Also it gives a lot more information to the content authors regarding the exact requirements of their training. Their training has to be complete enough for someone to be able to answer those questions.
