• Progress: 764 people enrolled in the online course so far and 338 of them have passed the exam.
• Marketing: Marketing activities are on hold for now. to be revisited in January. See below all the ideas suggested so far.

Summary on Marketing Ideas

Events:

• Tammy: Organize a meetup / online study session for Earth Day, April 22 – 'Do the training on Earth Day'
• Asim: A day we focused attention on community driven efforts. Internal and External websites – E..g 'Earth Day Live Banner'
• Asim: Trending Event During Earth Week to be driven by the Community Working Group. Just a moment in time when where we get as many people to complete the course and share their certificate online – 'Green Software Day'

External channels:

• only LF so far
• Asim: Let's explore getting the training in other catalogs, like Udemy
• Asim: Let's try to get Carbon Disclosure Project to add this as a question on the disclosure form they send to companies

Org leads

• Accenture case study on integrating the course into their corp training website with documentation on how they did it
• Send it to org leads to teach them how to implement this
• Potentially do a press release, just focusing on Accenture

Antitrust Policy

Linux Foundation meetings involve participation by industry competitors, and it is the intention of the Linux Foundation to conduct all of its activities in accordance with applicable antitrust and competition laws. It is therefore extremely important that attendees adhere to meeting agendas, and be aware of, and not participate in, any activities that are prohibited under applicable US state, federal or foreign antitrust and competition laws.

• Marketing ideas to be revisited in January. Make sure we add this to our WG meeting in January.
• Future plan: we could add animations to the online course (LMS) as this worked well for a previous course that Asim did.
• Anita to follow up with Accenture (demo) within a few weeks. 2-3 weeks left to complete SSO as per Navveen.
• Anita to find a way to keep track of the course rating and feedback received outside the forum.
