Training Data requirement for GSF Members #200

@PindyBhullar is requesting access to LF training data to track those in her organisation that have taken the course. Currently we don't have this data.

Can we speak to LF about this? We should be able to see some level of org data in regards to GSF members.

Unfortunately we don't have this data and LF don't provide it to us. @PindyBhullar the only approach we have to give people data on their orgs individual tracking is we add a link to this google doc which is shown people at the end of the course: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Jv-f7wGyODzEySQFfVk6Vo_OAHWjf-jAdFmyfDQUgvU/edit which contains instructions for how to register credits through a link that each company provides.

Which as I type I realize UBS blocks google docs :/

@adamj89 this is in the patterns repo but can we move it to the learn repo so it's captured in the right place. We need to deal with this challenge, many members are asking for the same thing and I don't want to lose track.

Is there a particular question you want to answer?

Hi @russelltrow we would like to have an automatic process, once our employees pass the course we are notified. At the moment we are asking for the exam certificate to be manually uploaded on our internal training platform and then manual checks are performed.

Hi @PindyBhullar I've checked out the LF's LMS and while I cannot setup an immediate notification, I could create an email report that runs weekly/monthly with the names of those who have passed in that period. This could be sent to you or someone in your L&D team.

If that sounds a workable solution I can pop an example over to your email.
