[x] @Sophietn to share update on new Project Lifecycle Process
Question @tholewis (paraphrased) How does this work for Community projects?
Answer @Sophietn (paraphrased) This update is only for Software Projects (maintainer-based) Lifecycle, a new lifecycle for Document Projects (consensus-based) Lifecycle will be shared shortly.
Question from @sk16-dev (paraphrased) does Graduated projects version 1.2 release go back to incubation?
Answer from @Sophietn (paraphrased) No it remains Graduated, but the PLs should keep the same standards as required for Graduation on future iterations for security, testing, documentation etc. GSF PM will keep track of this.
[x] @Sophietn to share notification of upcoming WG and Project Lead elections.
Key dates:
Notification to be sent via email 17th Nov. 2023.
Nomination Period begins | 17th Nov. 2023 (0800 GMT)
Nomination Period ends | 01st Dec. 2023 (1800 GMT)
Question from @tholewis (paraphrased) We're moving at a good velocity, is this something new learners might need to understand yet? Would we describe this as Fortune 500 ready to implement or a solid demo?
Answer from @jmcook1186 (paraphrased) Solid demo, alpha release. Because Azure importer is only VMs for now, and our testing has been limited to the VMs we have access too. We need to collect more user feedback after the alpha release.
